"HAIL TO THE MAN WHO WENT THROUGH LIFE ALWAYS HELPING OTHERS, KNOWING NO FEAR, AND TO WHOM AGGRESSIVENESS AND RESENTMENT ARE ALIEN..." 

When Rudy’s Barbershop opened a new location in Redmond, I worked with the owners and CEO to develop this installation combining the above Albert Einstein quote with Tomohiro Nishikado’s Space Invaders. Using a grid system created by the pegboard holes, I developed a typeface using 3x3 pixel (nailhead) squares in the space between each square of 4 peg holes. One month and over 40,000 galvanized box nails later, it is a permanent fixture celebrating the tech community of Redmond, Wa.
